Welcome to IceWay Taxi. By booking or using any of our services, you agree to be bound by the following Terms and Conditions. Please read them carefully. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, please do not use our services.
1Definitions
"IceWay Taxi", "we", "us", or "our" refers to IceWay Taxi, operating in Iceland. "Customer", "you", or "your" refers to the person making a booking or using our services. "Service" refers to any taxi, transfer, tour, or travel service provided by IceWay Taxi.
2Booking & Confirmation
- All bookings must be made in advance via our website, email, or phone.
- A booking is only confirmed once you receive a written confirmation from IceWay Taxi.
- You are responsible for providing accurate pickup details, contact information, and travel dates.
- IceWay Taxi reserves the right to decline any booking at its discretion.
3Pricing & Payment
- All prices are quoted in Euros (€) and are inclusive of VAT unless stated otherwise.
- Prices are fixed and agreed upon at the time of booking. No additional charges will be applied without prior notice.
- Payment can be made by credit card, debit card, or bank transfer.
- Full payment is required to confirm your booking unless otherwise agreed.
4Cancellation Policy
- More than 24 hours before pickup: Full refund.
- Less than 24 hours before pickup: 50% cancellation fee applies.
- No-show or cancellation on the day: No refund will be issued.
- Cancellations must be made in writing via email to icewaytaxi@gmail.com.
5Passenger Responsibilities
- Passengers must be ready at the agreed pickup location at the scheduled time.
- IceWay Taxi is not responsible for missed flights or appointments due to late passenger arrival.
- Passengers are responsible for their own luggage and personal belongings.
- Smoking, alcohol consumption, and any illegal activity are strictly prohibited in the vehicle.
- Any damage caused to the vehicle by a passenger will be charged accordingly.
6Flight Tracking & Delays
For airport transfers, IceWay Taxi monitors flight arrivals in real-time. In the event of a flight delay, we will adjust the pickup time accordingly at no extra charge. However, we cannot be held responsible for delays caused by factors outside our control, including but not limited to extreme weather, road closures, or acts of nature.
7Liability
- IceWay Taxi carries full public liability insurance as required by Icelandic law.
- We are not liable for any indirect, consequential, or special damages arising from the use of our services.
- Our maximum liability is limited to the total amount paid for the specific service in question.
8Vehicle & Capacity
All services are provided in our Škoda Octavia, which accommodates a maximum of 4 passengers and 3 large bags. If your group or luggage exceeds this capacity, please contact us in advance so we can make alternative arrangements.
9Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Iceland. Any disputes arising from these terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Icelandic courts.
